Meet Alaska! He is the sweetest 2 year old husky you will ever meet & oh those blue eyes. We learned about Alaska through our partnership with Taffy’s Legacy Canine Rescue.

Is Alaska available for adoption? Unfortunately not right now but he will be. Alaska has been diagnosed with Heartworm and Lyme Disease. He is currently starting treatment and will be on a medical hold for ~3 months during treatment. Heartworm is an aggressive treatment and typically costs ~$3000. He is currently on antibiotics to kill the microfilaria (baby heartworms) and prepare him for his series of Melansar injections, which he will be hospitalized with a vet for.
