At Dog Gone Walking, we form amazing bonds with our clients, over years of visiting and getting to know all their quirks and unique personalities. With help from our sponsor, Ren’s Pets Depot, we choose a client each month and show off some of the incredible pets we spend time with every day!

Though the pet business is often so incredibly happy, it can also be incredibly heartbreaking. Today we acknowledge and celebrate the life of one of our favourite clients, Abby who’s live was cut short unexpectedly. Abby has been in our hearts and on our walks since she was a puppy & long time clients since 2005 with their previous dog Clipper. Almost all of our walkers have had the pleasure of meeting Abby at some point, and are so thankful to have experienced her joy. She has always been a ray of sunshine on our day.

At the same household, we also have the pleasure of visiting her sister, the lovely Lilly. Lilly is one of the purriest cats we know. She can always be found in her bed on the couch, and loves to see us walk in the door.

This household is full of so much love, and we are so deeply saddened by the loss of Abby. She will be missed by many, as she has brightened so many peoples days. It’s truly amazing how much love one dog can give.

From all of us as DGW, thank you so much to Abby and Lilly, amazing clients of ours. Our hearts are with their family. The loss of our pets hurt very deeply, as they are truly part of the family.
