We have been using the services of Dog Gone Walking for almost three years now and we couldn’t be more pleased and happy.
Ginger and Maizie are our senior yellow labs. When we are away for an extended period, we require someone to come to feed and/or walk them so that we can enjoy our activity without worrying about them being hungry, uncomfortable or lonely.
From the beginning we were able to arrange this easily and sometimes on short notice. Some visits are on weekdays, some on weekends and they could be anytime from early morning to 8 PM.
We have dogs and our son and daughter have cats and rabbits in their respective homes. Dog Gone Walking has provided the same reliable, consistent and loving care to them all.
The service is extraordinary and so are the people who provide it. The care our precious pets receive is reliable and expert, and the people who provide that care are knowledgeable, loving and caring.

With our busy and ever changing schedules, we’ve found the services provided by Mandy and Dog Gone Walking to be flexible and dependable. We feel better knowing that Mable is at home when we are away, instead of in a kennel with limited space. The in home visits provided, give her everything she needs, and plenty of walking around her favourite spots!

Dog Gone Walking & Cat Care is more than simply a pet service, it’s TLC with snuggles, smiles, notes, and treats. After 14 years, the people of DGW are part of our family, and my 2 Boston Terriers feel the same way (and respond with lots of wiggles, kisses, and excitement). Life is definitely better with a dog (or two) and having DGW is like a smudge of peanut butter on top of a venison liver treat – extra awesomeness.

With our busy and ever changing schedules, we’ve found the services provided by Mandy and Dog Gone I can now go to work and not worry about my dog being alone. Ellie Mae (our two-year old Shih Tzu) looks forward to visits by Mandy. When I get home from work Ellie Mae runs to the note Mandy has left for that day and makes sure I follow her to read about her walk that day. Mandy is very flexible and works with my schedule which is always changing!

Dog Gone Walking and Cat Care has been walking our two doggies for over 5 years now, and have always provided the most caring, complete and regular service. Our dogs love each of the walkers. And we have come to consider Mandy and her wonderful team as an important support. DGW has always been extremely good when we’ve had to contact them for something that’s come up suddenly, requiring someone to come by. We feel good knowing that despite our busy schedules, Taffy will be well looked after by Dog Gone Walking. Mandy brings her love of animals to the job along with a high degree of professionalism and reliability – not to mention those special touches such as holiday treats! As our two cats, Simon and Reilly, are truly members of our family, it was very important that we find trustworthy sitters for them when we needed to travel. Walking’s services for years, sometimes at very short notice. It is such a relief to have reliable coverage for our cat’s twice-daily insulin shots, carried out by people who love animals. (And our non-diabetic cat is always happy to see a friendly face when we’re gone.)

I live alone and work full-time, without Dog Gone VVaIking I wouldn’t be able to have my dog ‘Scooter’. Not only does Mandy make sure he is well exercised and entertained, she also makes certain I am aware of any shots or extra vaccines that are required throughout the year.
